Weekly training for middle school players developing their skills in a competitive but supportive environment — perfect for newer players or those balancing multiple sports.
U12-U14 Club is the right home for middle school players who are developing their game without the full commitment of Travel. One session per week, focused coaching, and a fun, competitive atmosphere where every player improves.
Sunday early evening training at Greenhill combines skill development with small-sided games. Players work on dribbling, passing, scanning, and decision-making — the foundations of intelligent play. Sessions are paced to keep energy high and learning sticky.
Middle school players (grades 5–8) at any experience level. Some U12-U14 Club players are brand new to the sport and discovering it for the first time. Others have been playing for years but choose Club for scheduling flexibility. The environment works for both.
Real, season-over-season improvement. A genuine love for the sport. Confidence on the field that translates into confidence off it. And the option to step up to Travel when you're ready — Lonestar's pathway is built so players can move between Club and Travel as their commitment level evolves.

Everyone was incredibly patient and kind - the girls all accepted MK into the fold instantly and she never looked back. MK was truly a beginner, field hockey was the first team sport she had played and the learning curve was steep – when her school coach saw her again that fall of 8th grade he was shocked at how much she had improved (a testament to the Lonestar coaches and playing model for sure!).
