Weekly training for high school players developing their game in a fun, supportive environment — perfect for those balancing other sports or starting later in their hockey journey.
U16-U19 Club is for high school players who love field hockey and want to keep developing — without the multi-day weekly commitment of our Travel program. Whether you're a multi-sport athlete, picking up the sport later, or simply want to play for the love of the game, this is where you belong.
Each Wednesday evening, players work through skill development, tactical concepts, and competitive game play. Coaches focus on advancing technical ability, building hockey IQ, and creating a positive team environment where every player improves.
High school players (grades 9–12) at any experience level. Some of our U16-U19 Club players are still in their first or second season of hockey. Others have been with us for years but choose Club over Travel because of scheduling. Both thrive.
Real improvement, season over season. The confidence that comes from being part of a high-performing club. The friendships that form when you train alongside players who share your love of the sport. And the option to step up to Travel or join Adult Hockey once you graduate — the pathway never closes.

Everyone was incredibly patient and kind - the girls all accepted MK into the fold instantly and she never looked back. MK was truly a beginner, field hockey was the first team sport she had played and the learning curve was steep – when her school coach saw her again that fall of 8th grade he was shocked at how much she had improved (a testament to the Lonestar coaches and playing model for sure!).
Absolutely. The majority of our players start with zero experience. We lend sticks for your daughter's first session so there's nothing to buy before you know she loves it. Our coaches are experienced at bringing complete beginners into the game — at every age group
For a first session, athletic clothes, tennis shoes (not cleats), and a water bottle. Shinguards and a mouth guard are required. We lend sticks, If your daughter decides she wants to continue, we'll point you toward the right stick to buy.
Seasonal fees range from $200–$540 depending on the program and tier. We never profit on tournaments — costs are pooled and split evenly. If cost is a concern, speak with us directly.
Start with a free trial session. Our coaches will assess your daughter's age, experience, and interests and recommend the right fit. Club is perfect for beginners, Academy for players wanting more development time, and Travel for competitive players.
We understand that life with kids is unpredictable. We don't offer credits or refunds for individual missed sessions, but we do ask that you let your coach know in advance where possible. Consistent attendance is encouraged — especially at Academy and Travel level — but we understand there will be occasional absences.
Yes. Your daughter's first session is free at every program level. No commitment, no sales pitch — just come and see if she loves it. We'll lend her a stick. Book your free trial using the Free Trial button at the top or bottom of this page and let us know it's your first session.
Click the Register button at the top of this page. You'll be taken to our registration form where you can secure your daughter's spot for the current season. Spots are limited at every program level to keep coaching ratios small — if a program is full you'll be added to the waitlist and contacted as soon as a spot opens.
